No introduction to Scrivener would be complete without saying hello to the software’s smaller sibling, the iOS app.
For years people figured out workarounds to go mobile with their Scrivener projects, me included. I resorted to emailing text back and forth and copy and pasting from my ipad apps into Scrivener when I was back in the office. It was a real pain, and not entirely without problems. Lost work, lost words and a more than a few irritations.
But I persevered because my main workflow was within the Scrivener environment; binder, research, notes, labels et al.
I wasn’t the only one. Thousands of users begging for an app led to all sorts of rumours when Literature and Latte might finally bring Scrivener’s powers to other devices.
Finally it has happened! And, despite the frustrations along the way using less than ideal workflows as we patiently prayed, it was worth the wait! The iOS app brings all of the power and beauty of Scrivener right into the mobile arena in a magnificent way!

To connect your Scrivener iOS version to Dropbox and then sync and work on those files across devices is super easy.
Once you are connected it makes working between devices seamless. How wonderful it is to have all of the power of Scrivener coupled with the freedom to write wherever and however you want to.
