Over the past 3 years, I have experienced some major breakthroughs in my business, without compromising and still keeping things real with Jesus! I have made well over 6 figures and have witnessed Deuteronomy 8:18 (look it up if you don’t already know it) go to work in a remarkable way.
In 2020 I want to help at least 100 other people get their online publishing and business breakthrough, and lead them to discover how to share their passion, and profit from it in an authentic way without selling their soul to the mad world of money.
Seriously, you can profit greatly by simply helping others to reach their dreams. Helping others is a sure-fire way to set the seedtime and harvest process into motion. I can show you numerous ways how to actually DO this, because I have been failing forward trying all sorts of avenues to make a dent in the world and stay true to my creative nature for over 10 years now.
And, by God’s grace, I am pleased to shout from the rooftops, “It is possible!”
You were made to be a maker and you can rock not only your own world but the world’s of multitudes of other people if you will take courage and step out in faith – starting today!
I didn’t always believe and act this way though. Don’t get the idea that I am someone special or different, super anointed or somehow otherworldly. Dude, you are kidding me?! I faced all the same fears you do as creative Christian.
My journey to this point has been littered with challenges and disappointments. I have wrestled inwardly with fears and excuses too numerous to count, and outwardly with technical challenges and difficulties until I thought my brain would short-circuit. I don’t know one person who can hold a trophy who hasn’t fought hard and exercised passionate and sometimes painful faith steps to get where they now stand.
Honestly, ask anyone who knew me back in the day (several people who did will be attending the webinars). They will tell you how I was the most reluctant, fearful and frustrated person ever when it came to money and business of any kind. Jesus had to drag me kicking and screaming into the understanding that money is the result of sharing value, and sharing value is what we are all about.
“The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.” Proverbs 11:25
People are thirsty for what you have to offer and it’s time to bring it to the table and feed some folks. 2020 is the time to take off and move forward with whatever creative dreams are bursting on the inside.
Stretch your creative wings and take flight in 2020. Stop procrastinating and second-guessing and just get out there and give it a go. There are some things that you can’t learn from a book. Certain lessons in life and business are reserved for the DOERS.
Blessing comes from taking action. I could list scripture after scripture that points to this truth. Sure, we don’t act in our own strength, but nevertheless, we do act!
Even this post is an action on my part. My declaration and desire to help at least 100 people get their online breakthrough this year is pronounced with trembling faith (I know I can do it but it still makes me nervous!).
But I have learned this, you don’t grow hiding behind what you already know. You have to stretch and step out of the shadows, take a few arrows and run to the battle.
I know nothing about running a webinar series for Christian creatives. But I’m doing it with an imperfection I have learned to embrace.
It’s called practicing in public and practicing what you preach. Are you scared to step out? Join the club. Do it anyways!
Why? Because I know if I don’t I will not be the only one to suffer and miss out. I could just keep what I have been learning to myself and just enjoy the fruits of faith and hard work, but truth be told, my pastor’s heart just won’t live with that one! My job as an apostolic teacher is only fulfilled when it teaches others to teach others. But it begins with teaching, laying bare my business, prayer and practices so you can bypass the pain I endured to get here!
Other things are well under my belt…
Writing and publishing books, yes. I have over 700 books published and selling.
Creating online courses? Check – I have created and taught many, with thousands of online students benefitting from them every day.
Blogging and websites. For many years I was on the first page for the search term “Jesus Christ” so I have some knowhow there too.
Bible and ministry? Planting and pastoring four churches over a 20 year period and creating an entire online Bible School laid some foundations there. But…
There is always a beautiful “but” that God places in our pathway. He never lets us settle halfway to the promise.
I know in my heart I want to step up and get real and personal with some live training, where I can begin to connect with a passionate community and tribe of creative Christians who have an entrepreneurial mindset. A bunch of people ready and willing to shake the dust and make some waves in the coming decade with their creativity and generosity.
I’m reaching out to find my tribe so we can fight some battles and enjoy the spoils of creative war together. We fight to create value and beauty. We fight to finance family and the freedom of the gospel. We fight to champion others and see them fulfil their God-given destiny.
I’m sick of staying small in my own eyes, grazing with the grasshoppers. Man of God, woman of faith, there is a creative mountain you need to take, and time is getting shorter and shorter.
How real do you want to be? This creative thing is not a hobby, it is your LIFE! Have the fires been quenched and smothered?
Let’s shake ourselves awake, throw on the armor of light and get back in the fray. Pull out your creative sword and stretch those wings with fresh purpose.
